Bob was released from the hospital yesterday morning about 3 hours after he checked in.
Today we delivered 3 cases of Ensure to his nurse.
She told us the other day he was sitting at the table, looked over at one of the their residents and asked him "So What do you think? numbnuts"

Rivers of blood
One of our cell phones rang this morning at about 3:30am. I thought it was my wife until I heard the sound that indicates a voicemail.
The only time someone would call and leave a message at 3:30am is if something bad has happened. I checked the message and then called the number back. The night RN found Bob awake and alert but covered in blood from a nose bleed. He was bleeding from his nose and mouth.
This has happened before just one year ago.
They are sending him to the hospital which is just across the street from his nursing home.
