I'm convinced of this because he constantly complains that he is super sensitive to light. Everywhere we go if the sun or any bright light hits him in the face he reacts like he's going to melt. Similar to this:
Today we went over to check on his arm where the cancer was and it was bleeding all over the place, so I cleaned it with alcohol and put a new bandage on it.
